Adding or Removing the "Same As Bill To" Button
Starting with Version 2.9.1013, Excel Invoice Manager
adds a new button "Same As Bill To" to the Invoice worksheet of the standard
invoice template. As the name implies, the button copies the address information from
the Bill To section to the
Ship To section, so that you don't need to enter the
same information again.
Adding the "Same As Bill To" Button
For users who desire to use the existing template with the new version of Excel Invoice Manager program, the following tutorial demonstrates how to add the Same As Bill To
button to the invoice template shipped with the previous versions of Excel Invoice Manager.
Tip: Make sure you have installed the latest version of Excel Invoice Manager
before you begin.
- Open your invoice template.
- Unprotect the Invoice worksheet. (How?)
- Switch to design mode. (How?)
- Display row/column headers and gridlines. (How?)
- Right-click the View Customer Info button, and
choose Copy from the menu.
- Right-click cell L15 (or any empty area near the Ship To
section), and then choose Paste from the menu. A new
button is created (pasted).
- Right-click the newly created button, choose Properties
from the menu. The Properties box appears.
- In the Name field, enter
"oknCmdSameAsBillTo"; In the Caption field,
enter "Same As Bill To", as the figure below.
- Close the Properties box.
- Hide gridlines and row/column headers.
- Exit design mode. Protect the Invoice worksheet.
- Save the template.
Now if you click the newly created Same As Bill To
button, the address information in the Bill To section
will be copied to the Ship To section.
Removing the "Same As Bill To" Button
- Open your invoice template.
- Unprotect the Invoice worksheet. (How?)
- Switch to design mode. (How?)
- Click the "Same As Bill To" button to select it.
- Hit DEL key on your keyboard.
- Exit design mode.
- Protect the Invoice worksheet.
- Save the template.
