Two Versions of Customer Statement Report

This version of the document, "Two Versions of Customer Statement Report", was written for Excel Invoice Manager, which was now renamed to Uniform Invoice Software. For the latest version of this document, please download Uniform Invoice Software.

Starting with version 2.11.1015, Excel Invoice Manager offers a new Customer Statement report that shows detailed invoicing and payment records within the specified date range. However the program still supports the previous version of Customer Statement.

Run two versions of Customer Statement report on the same computer

Each invoice template file can include only one Customer Statement worksheet; however you can use two (or even more) templates on the same computer and have all the templates connect to the same database.

Tip: The Express and Platinum editions support one invoice template at a time only. This means that, if you need to use the second template, you need to close the first one before opening the second template. See Difference between Editions for more information about the differences between editions.

You can download the two versions of Customer Statement report (i.e. two versions of the default invoice template) here.

To connect the templates your download to your existing database:

  1. Open the template in Excel.
  2. Click the Settings button on the Invoice worksheet.
  3. Click the Database tab.
  4. Browse to and open your database.
  5. Save your template.

Replace the default statement report with another one

If you have your existing invoice template that works with Excel Invoice Manager, and need to replace the Customer Statement report only, here is what needs to be done:

  1. First download the template you need.
  2. Follow the tutorial Copying Report Worksheets from One Invoice Template to Another to replace the Customer Statement report in your existing template.
